After many years of taking part in Amazing English Tour, AET has witnessed countless examples of effort, has seen the maturity of Tour Leaders, and has gained more and more believable to the young generation that AET has been nurturing. Admin’s belief became even stronger today when we knows that Tour Leader Anh Thu had been admitted to the university that she had always dreamed of with high tuition support, which she always enthusiastic when talking about, Fulbright University Vietnam – the first Liberal Education University in Vietnam.
Remember about 1 year after AET was founded, Ad met Thu on a trip to Hue. At that time, Ad was impressed with Thu right from the first meeting because she looked very active and was also passionate about speaking English with foreign tourists. When Thu talked, Ad didn’t understand, not because she was bad in English, but because… Thu spoke English as she rapped, so from that, both Ad and the Amazing team remembered that girl with an unmistakable feature. It wasn’t until later when Thu participated in Tours more and regularly appeared on AET trips, Thu expressed her desire to be a Tour Leader like brothers and sisters in the team, and from then, she started her journey to find her dreams and happiness. Having interacted with Thu a lot, Ad knew that behind such a bright and energetic girl, there were also many thoughts and sorrows. Thu always cried when talking about herself, cried again after team meetings, and continued to cry when AET did something surprising for Thu. Few people know how much effort that girl had to make, how much perseverance she had to do to do what she liked, to find peace for herself.
Despite so many difficulties, Thu is still passionate, hardworking, and trying for a better future. From a Tour Leader who always had to be careful with her words, Thu gradually became more confident, thereby taking on higher roles such as cheerleader, English specialist, energetic MC,… in events and tours of AET. No more tears flowing down her cheeks, Ad sees a girl who always smiles brightly when standing on stage, a sister who is very welcoming to her students, and also a lovely younger sister who loves her brothers and sisters very much. Thu’s maturity and talent at present are something that Ad and AET are not surprised, by because after all her efforts, this result is natural.
A new door has opened again. AET hopes that Thu will continue to make an effort and be positive to enter a new environment with lots of joy. No matter where you are, don’t forget that there is still a family here that always supports you and welcomes you. Even though you are far away from AET, you are still proud of our team and the example that other students are following. Please bring an enthusiastic heart with the experiences you have to inspire your friends in the new environment. AET loves you!
