On August 1-3, 2024, AET and students explored the land of a million elephants in AET’s special internal journey.
For AET, it took 20 years to set foot in the neighboring country, even though the place we lives is only 80km away from Laos. Our emotions were really emotional during the preparation process. And the moment when we stepped into the Lao Bao international border gate and the Densavan international border gate, perhaps this was the moment that made AET so emotional that it was hard to describe.
Before going to Laos, we thought that some of you would think like we that Laos would be sad and simple. But no, my friends, the atmosphere in Laos is really happy and bustling. Especially the image of the most simple, gentle and friendly.
Here, AET and the students were able to explore many unique cultural features, as well as enjoy many specialties in Laos. Everyone praised the deliciousness. We kept enjoying this and that dish even though their stomachs were full.
3 days is not too long or too short a time for AET and the students to accumulate new knowledge and new experiences. On the last day, the faces of the Tour Leaders and the students were a bit sad. The sadness here was because we were about to say goodbye to Laos, the friendly people had enthusiastically welcomed our group.
It must be that AET has definitely fallen in love with the “million elephants” country. AET and Vietnamese students will see you in Laos next year!
