The red of summer is gradually changing to the cool color of autumn leaves, isn’t it? Last Saturday, Ms. Nhan’s and Ms. Tinh’s students and two independent students joined AET on the Hue Tour. Our trip to Hue was still very “Summer” because we laughed a lot, very bright and dazzling like the summer sun.
An exciting morning
In the morning, the students visited the woodblock painting exhibition area. The National Day is coming soon, so every household across Vietnam is painting the National Flag on the roof to show their patriotism. The children showed their patriotism in another way, we visited the traditional woodblock paintings of the Vietnamese people. We learned about Sinh village paintings, Dong Ho paintings, Hang Trong paintings and Kim Hoang paintings to preserve, conserve and promote this precious culture of the nation. Listening to the history of traditional paintings and experiencing the printing of woodblock paintings was truly wonderful and meaningful. Next, we went to Kim Dong Water Park to swim and have fun. That was our morning, very energetic.
Com Nieu is a specialty of Hue and the children enjoyed that specialty at noon to recharge their batteries. At the same time, they learned more about the cultures in this Kinh Than land. After that, the AET team and the children went to Phu Xuan bookstore to shop and rest, preparing for an afternoon with 200% energy.
Hue Imperial City welcomes us
The afternoon has come, let’s go! Hue Imperial City still warmly welcomed AET and the children with cool breezes and rows of green trees. That afternoon, we talked to many tourists from many countries around the world. AET saw smiles and innocent eyes always appearing on the faces of each child when talking to tourists. It was a familiar scene but very unique to us. After communicating in English, the AET team played fun games to end a memorable and meaningful afternoon. And so we had to say goodbye to our beloved Hue to return to our families. See you soon, Hue!
A successful trip
A successful trip cannot be without mentioning the spirit and abundant energy of the students. AET thanks you very much. As we are about to enter the new school year, AET wishes the children to achieve new achievements, reap many successes, and get many 10s. In addition, AET would like to thank Ms. Nhan, Ms. Tinh and the parents who trusted and created opportunities for their children to experience and have a memorable trip with AET.
